About Us
Our Mission
We raise asset lifecycle management processes to Industry 4.0 level. With agile methods and state-of-the-art IT technologies, we drive the digital transformation in our target markets.
In this way, we optimize asset management, maintenance, operation and dismantling of complex plants and buildings. This is how we help you to sustainably increase your value creation and achieve your corporate social responsibility goals.
Our value proposition
We have the experience and know-how of 38 years of successful consulting and implementation of IT solutions for the maintenance of complex and sensitive industrial plants.
On this basis, we support you today in the digital transformation towards an intelligent, predictive and thus sustainable Industry 4.0.
Our history
Foundation
Nuclear power plants need a system for operations management and maintenance as well as for organizing the documentation and archiving of their records. In view of this need, a start-up was born: GiS – Gesellschaft für integrierte Systemplanung was founded in Mannheim in 1984. Later, the experts at GiS develop openJet (today OpenBMS), a framework that forms the basis of the maintenance systems of German nuclear power plants for the next 20 years.
Growth
After years of successful growth in Germany and Switzerland, the company diversifies into large, complex industrial customers. At the same time, the portfolio is expanded to include standard EAM products from IBM and Infor (now Hexagon EAM). Self-developed solutions (such as Maximo Data Manager, Insight Control Panel and openTalos) extend the functionalities of existing standard EAM systems. Now the integration of different backend systems is possible as well as simplified data transfer and mobile maintenance.
Merger
In 2018, we become part of ROBUR Industry Service Group GmbH, a holistic provider of industrial services. Shortly thereafter, in 2020, we merge with EAM Software GmbH, which brings 20 years of IBM Maximo experience. Together, we will thus become the largest IBM Business Partner in this segment.
RODIAS GmbH
Under the new brand, we are developing into a specialist for asset lifecycle management. We accompany our customers on the path of digital transformation to a sustainable Industry 4.0. With OPTIRA, we are developing a tool in cooperation with KIT that optimizes complex planning projects in terms of time and total costs with the help of mathematical methods. We continue to grow and at the same time manage to maintain a family atmosphere.

Industry
Our solutions and services support you in increasing the availability of your systems and minimising unplanned downtime. In addition to customised implementations of the market-leading products IBM Maximo and Hexagon EAM (formerly Infor EAM), we have developed our own solutions around our core topic of Enterprise Asset Management (EAM).
Pulp & Paper
Our solutions are specifically suited for the paper industry. For example, paper manufacturers can optimize their downtime management with the Maximo Add-on Shutdown Planning. We also support you in integrating external service providers into your production process and creating interfaces to other systems.

Energy & Utilities
For more than 35 years, we have been supporting utilities in the digitalization of their internal processes for service provision as well as for the safe decommissioning of plant capacities. In the nuclear industry, SPIE RODIAS has already set the standard for operations management systems in the German-speaking market for several decades with openBMS. For the future, we are positioning ourselves in the hydrogen market.
Mobility & Transport
With the help of an EAM solution, you manage your mobile assets centrally on a single platform. This allows you to optimize planned maintenance work and plan, schedule and track all work on the assets. We support you in connecting to essential information from other systems, such as depot management, infrastructures or dispatch management.

Facility Management
We are familiar with EAM solutions for technical facility management, which focuses on the actual operation of objects and facilities. We also support infrastructural facility management, which coordinates all services around a building. Increasingly important is the mapping of energy and sustainability management as well as commercial FM with a focus on cost planning.
