Kuraray is a global speciality chemicals company based in Frankfurt. It is one of the largest suppliers of polymers and synthetic microfibres for industrial sectors.

Until now, Kuraray has largely used individual solutions for planning, order processing and warehouse management, which meant that it was not possible to utilise comprehensive updating and connectivity of the data.

The solution for this was a holistic enterprise asset management system, which includes an order management system for the planning and execution of maintenance measures.

With the introduction of the unified asset management and work order management system, Kuraray now has a more standardised maintenance process. It also enables significantly better tracking of documented events.

In the mobile solution, Kuraray employees can process and confirm the work orders assigned to them. They also have an overview of the site and plant structures and hierarchies as well as the availability of spare parts.
