Niedersachsen Ports is the owner and operator of five seaports, seven island supply ports and three regional ports on the German North Sea coast.

As part of a digitalization initiative, maintenance and repair management, employee management and project management and control were to be digitalized and standardized.

All processes were first analysed and standardized as part of the digitalization initiative. The roles involved were defined and assigned to the respective employees.

The SPIE RODIAS solution takes over control of the defined processes, integrating the use of mobile devices. The planning of the use of capacities (internal and external personnel, material, equipment) is carried out by integrating the capacities into the digital order planning and coordination.

The use of the solution in a standardized form for all branches provides management with a transparent overview of all activities within NPorts.

For employees, the use of the solution in conjunction with the use of mobile devices also means a high increase in efficiency. In addition, less effort is required to record the data and the information required for the work to be carried out can be retrieved online in a targeted manner.
