Hans G. HAURI KG Mineralstoffwerke is a stone processing company specialising in the processing of mineral raw materials. With its ultra-modern production facilities and its own research and quality laboratories, Hauri is one of the most innovative companies in the industry. At the Merdingen site, HAURI operates a lime shaft kiln, the centrepiece of lime production.

Unplanned downtimes are expensive and have a major impact on the subsequent processing steps. The aim is to recognise imminent damage in good time in order to avoid unplanned downtime and to procure spare parts and replacement equipment as required.

The decisive advantage of the SPIE RODIAS solution is that the health status is continuously displayed. The maintenance engineer always has his ‘ear to the ground’, so to speak.

Thanks to the introduction of the CBM cockpit, HAURI is able to recognise the wear of critical components on the lime shaft kiln at an early stage and can therefore react in good time before the system fails.
