On 24 April 2025, the new version of the Maximo Application Suite was released: MAS 9.1. This version not only brings technical updates, but also real added value for users: greater clarity, increased transparency, intelligent assistance and flexible operation.

What’s new in MAS 9.1?

  • Central navigation menu: Applications are now accessible via a common, clearly arranged menu. This improves orientation, saves time and simplifies getting started – especially in larger organisations.
  • New user management: Permissions and their impact on licences are now directly visible. Administrators gain clarity, avoid licence risks and optimise the use of existing models.
  • Modern technological basis: MAS 9.1 runs on Java 17 and now supports Red Hat OpenShift 4.18 – a stable, secure and powerful environment for future-proof EAM.
  • AI assistants & voice control: With MAS 9.1, AI-powered digital assistants are becoming part of everyday life. Conversational interfaces enable voice-based input – ideal for field service; natural language interfaces (NLI) make it easy to use, even without IT knowledge. Automated capture speeds up processes and increases data quality
  • AI services for predictive maintenance: MAS 9.1 offers improved AI analyses for condition assessment and risk evaluation.
